Studies & Reports
Canada’s nuclear industry is responsible for more than 70,000 Canadian jobs – those employed directly and indirectly and those supplying the industry.
The Canadian Nuclear Association has commissioned a number of studies from reputable institutions such as the Canadian Energy Research Institute and SECOR on subjects such as life cycle costs of various energy forms, economic impacts of the nuclear industry, and health impacts. These studies can be found in this section of our site.
Also available are public opinion studies conducted by Ipsos-Reid on Canadian attitudes towards nuclear. These go back several years.
You will also find provincial studies on nuclear subjects, as well as studies from North American and international bodies.
